Born in Australia, Nigel grew up in the eastern United States where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.

 

He recently made his Australian debut in Harvey Milk the opera in concert with Left Bauer Productions. Before his move to Australia he was a member of the Resident Company at Midtown Arts Center in Colorado, performing in Miss Saigon (Chris), South Pacific (u/s Lt. Cable), in the ensembles of White Christmas and Spamalot, and as Marius in Les Misérables, for which he won the 2013 Reader's Choice True West Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.

 

Other favorite credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip) and Dames at Sea (Dick) at Highlands Playhouse, Hairspray (u/s Link) at Flat Rock Playhouse, and The Balladeer in Assassins at his alma mater.
