LUCY WILKINS

Designer

Lucy is an award winning Melbourne-based Costume Designer who moved from Hobart at the start of 2013 to study Production Design at The Victorian College of the Arts.  She started working in the theatre at the age of 15 and since then has worked on a wide variety of shows including; Three Birds One Cock, The Hatpin (Victorian College of the Arts 2015),  Saturday Night Fever (Stage Art, 2016), Pygmalion, Il Signor Bruschino (Lyric Opera of Melbourne, 2016), Einstein Master of the Universe (RL Productions 2016), Around the World in 80 Days (Ellis Productions 2016), Our Man in Havana (Lyric Opera of Melbourne 2016), Magic Flute (Australian International Opera Company, 2016), LadyCake (Poppyseed Festival, 2016), The Japanese Princess (Lyric Opera of Melbourne 2017) and Greek Goddess (Terence O’Connell, 2017), Lohengrin (Melbourne Opera, 2017), Jack of Two Trades (Monash University, 2017) and Tristan and Isolde (Melbourne Opera, 2018).

Lucy first designed costumes for Lyric on the 2016 production of Pygmalion, returning in 2017 with The Japanese Princess and Les Mamelles de Tiresias in 2018.
